Seeing is believing, or so they say. That’s why I decided to check out how tungsten carbide rings fared against something harsh. I found a video online where a tungsten ring is literally beaten by the claw end of a steel hammer. This would surely damage even the toughest of metals, I thought, but I was definitely mistaken. After it was struck, the ring showed not even a scratch let alone a dent or a ding. I was amazed at how tough this material really was! Imagine having one around! It would certainly last a lifetime. I mean, if it can stand up to a hammer blow then it’s got to be worth something. And if it can defeat several hammer blows, then they’re good enough for me.
