This type is bets for people who don’t want to deal with a lot of maintenance. They are also much quieter than gasoline models.

The third type of trimmer is powered by a rechargeable battery pack. The battery sits on a charger in your garage and is clipped on to the trimmer when in use. These models are the least powerful of the trimmer models and are recommended for smaller jobs. The battery will need to be replaced every couple years as it wears out. These trimmers offer the flexibility of a gas trimmer, and the quietness of the corded models.
