Will My Husband Like A Titanium Watch for Christmas?

Some people are already doing their Christmas shopping online, and they are looking for what to get their husband or boyfriend. If people ask me what I would like for Christmas, I tell them I would like a watch designed with titanium. Titanium is a great metal to use for making watches because it is so durable and resistant to all kinds of chemicals. I used to work near chemicals, and a titanium watch would be the perfect kind of watch to have in that job situation. Some of these chemicals could very caustic or corrosive, and you do not want your watch getting ruined by the exposure to such agents. For those of you already doing your Christmas shopping, see if your husband or boyfriend would be interested in a strong, reliable watch made out of titanium.

Making Metal Art

Making metal art is a wonderful and unique way to develop and show off your sculpting skills.  Ranging from making tiny jewelry to stacking old cars, metal art is a varied and almost limitless medium.  Some metal artists use major (and heavy) hunks of metal that they weld together to create their works of art.  Others work with fine wire and other tiny metal embellishments and pendants to create delicate earrings and other fine pieces of jewelry.  Metal art pieces can be polished to a high sheen or other pieces are left to weather and rust and develop a wonderful rustic patina. Some metal art pieces are towering massive pieces made to look like various animals or objects.  If you look closely at these pieces you can often recognize the pieces that were used to create them.  From old car parts, old washing machine parts to delicate watch movements, metal art can be created from almost any old piece of metal.
