Are you considering qualifying as a Licensed Practical Nurse, or LPN?  If so you may want to give some consideration to the type of LPN jobs that are available to you once you have passed the national examination.  Some LPN jobs require shift working.  Are you happy with the idea of working in:

1. A hospital environment.
2. A care home for the elderly.
3. A nursing home.

All of the LPN roles will almost certainly involve working on shift, which will mean working the early shift, the late shift and sometimes weekend shifts.  You need to be prepared for this manner of working as for some working on shift can take some adjusting to.  So before finally deciding on whether to go for that LPN qualification spend some time thinking about whether you will be happy with the jobs you get afterwards.
