Visit any garden centre in the country and you may well be overwhelmed by the number of different garden tools which are available for purchase. You can be sure that many of these tools will come in handy at some point in your gardening life but the one tool which is indispensable for a gardener with all but the very smallest of gardens would be the wheelbarrow.

Wheelbarrows allow you to work far more productively by transporting larger amounts of things in a shorter space of time. Of course they also allow you to move things such as logs and large rocks which you might otherwise find it impossible to budge.
