For people who have made religious observation a big part of their life, there are of course many different religious statues, figurines and other sorts of items that can go into a front or backyard to grant a little bit of peace and serenity to that area. Garden Angels are very popular with certain people, by the way. At the other end, there are any number of gargoyle-type statue variants available for sale.

People who make gardening a big part of their yard experience tend to like to place small statues of garden animals such as rabbits and the like, or those cute little gnomes, around their gardens. The thing to keep in mind about small statues like animals and gnomes is to put them where they are most appropriate. The garage roof is not a good looking site for a garden gnome but if placed well it will certainly add to your garden decor.
