Buying stocks for beginners can be a nightmare as there’s so much information out there it’s tough to know where to start. I’d always recommend starting on Yahoo Finance and having a look at the wonderful information on there to get you started. I’ve long been an admirer of the techniques taught by Warren Buffett with his value investing formula which has proven to be so successful over the years. Have a look at his company Berkshire Hathaway to see how he has applied it and just how successful he has been. He follows the techniques originally taught by Ben Graham who planned out his methods in the Security Analysis book from the 1940’s. This is often considered to be the Bible of stock market investing. You may find it a bit heavy going at first but I’d recommend any stock market enthusiast to give it a go.
