If you are thinking of becoming an Amazon affiliate and earning some money by promoting their products then the first thing you need to do is sign up for an account. It can often take up to a week to be approved and you’ll need a website or blog to show them that you know how to use the internet.

Once you are approved you’ll get your own unique Amazon affiliate ID. You can add more affiliate id’s later if you want to track different campaigns as well.

The Amazon affiliate program (also called the Amazon associates program) has lots of banners and widgets that you can use and you can even set up your own astore (amazon affiliate store).

Then all you need to do is set up your links and start promoting their products and (hopefully) watch the money start to roll in.
