flowers, the internet will show you how.  Flickr has a group on handmade wedding invitations.  They look better than most of them you can buy.  You don’t have to spend a ton of money on a wedding dress either.  Custom dresses can be found on eBay.  You design it, and send measurements, they’ll make the dress for you.  Many times for under $100.  Garment makers in the Hong Kong area are able to do this cheaper than you can get one in the U.S.  If you’re willing to do a lot of the work yourself you can have a budget wedding that looks great.
