Symptoms of Black Mold Exposure

Do you know the symptoms of black mold exposure? If you’re like me, you probably don’t. It took me several years before I ever realized that I had been exposed to the toxic mold. Several years is way too long. So, here’s what you should keep an eye out for:

Chest Congestion – Although chest congestion can be associated with a common cold, keep an eye out of it’s not that time of the season. It might not be just your common cold.

Memory Loss – Did you forget where you left your keys? You may think it’s normal, but when you can’t remember on a daily basis what you had for dinner the night before, it may be a sign of something far more serious.

Headaches – Headaches are no fun and when you’re getting them several times a week, your body is telling you something.

Lack of Concentration – If you’re unable to keep your mind on something you really enjoy, you might want to consider the fact that it may not be just another coincidence.

Urinary Tract Infections – If you’re not prone to UTI infections, you might want to see if there’s a possibility it could be linked to poisonous mold.

Dizziness – If you’re feeling dizzy and you haven’t skipped a meal or been around any toxic chemicals, it might be a sign of a mold problem.

Bleeding of the Lungs – Although rare but very serious, some people and especially infants may experience bleeding of the lungs when they’ve been exposed to toxic mold.

The above are just a few of the many symptoms of black mold poisoning. If you suspect you are at risk for the toxic fungus, please make an appointment with your doctor immediately. Your life could very well depend on it.
