Chainsaws are great for kinds of purposes, as long as they’re in the hands of somebody who knows how to use them. I’ve used a chainsaw couple times. Once a work quite well for the task at hand which is chopping down old tree in the front yard. The other time was attributed top of a post a goal I was building in the backyard, in which case it was really just a bad idea. But, you really need to go too far into that. The point is, I’ve seen those chainsaw artist, that can take an old tree stump and turn it into a grizzly bear with three Cubs fishing for salmon on a riverbank. Used STIHL chainsaws can be hard to find, or should say they were hard to find before the advent of the Internet. It seems that most owners of these remarkable machines don’t let them go very often. But thanks to auction sites like eBay and others, but not nearly as hard to find as they used to be.
