Many of us have read about the unfortunate situation that some young people have ended up in after a serious car accident. We all seem to share the opinion that these things always happen to the “other guy”. We just really don’t like to talk about preparing to die. It seems too morbid and we can always deal with that when it happens.
I am not trying to sell life insurance or funeral plots or wills made out by attorneys. I am trying to sell the idea of a peace of mind for you and your family and the loved ones that you leave behind when things go bad. Take some time to talk about these things with your parents, your kids, your partner, and your family and plan for the inevitable. It will make leaving this world a more peaceful event.

For most people, a summer holiday is all about hanging out on the beach. And so for those holiday makers planning to book a flight to Cap d’Agde in the south of France, the good news is that this sunny Mediterranean resort has eleven fantastic beaches to choose from… that means you can practically visit a different beach every day if you visit for a fortnight! Each of the beaches has its own character and offers different facilities – so here is a selection of my favourites and why!
Plage de Roquille – this is one of the larger golden sandy beaches at Cap d’Agde’s, and so in the height of summer it gets pretty busy! There are lots of activities available here, including wind surfing, water skiing kayaking, parascending, pedal boats and sailing, so this is a great beach for sporty, young types – and a great place for people watching. Another excellent aspect of the beach here is that the authorities have put in place special access routes for wheel chair users.
Le Grau d’Agde Plage – although this beach is located away from the main resort at the fishing village of Grau d’Agde, it is still really popular and can get quite busy. There’s plenty to do, least of all having lunch at one of the local fish restaurants, but what I enjoyed best here was spending a few hours on a pleasure boat cruise on the Canal du Midi.
La Tamarissiere – this gorgeous long stretch of sandy beach bordered by a beautiful pine forest is the ultimate place to get away from the bustle, let the lulling sounds of the cicadas in the trees send you off for a snooze under the sun!

So I went back and talked to Mark; I had a feeling he could help me find a denim shop apron. I was right. So I ordered it and wrapped it up.
When Henry opened it up Christmas morning, he didn’t really say anything, he just came up and gave me a hug. I was the only one he did that to. Then, when I got back to school and I was unpacking, I found a hand-written letter he’d slipped into my bag.
