Night Sweats Help

Here is some night sweats help so you can sleep through the night in greater comfort. Try some of these separately before you force them into your schedule.

Before you go to bed, take a short cool shower. This will help you lower your overall body temperature before you head to sleepy land and it will help you feel fresh within the sheets.

Sleep in a cool room. If you don’t have air conditioning, try to sleep with an open window and a fan. Sleep within nice breathable sheets. Cotton will do, but linen is even better.

Be sure to drink water throughout the day and keep a cool glass of water by your bedside. Make sure you integrate plenty of vegetables, fruits and fiber into your diet.

Discuss hormonal changes with your doctor. If menopause is a possibility, you’ll need to treat yourself appropriately. Men may also experience a kind of “andropause” which can cause night sweats in men. You need to know if you’re experiencing these hormonal phenomenon so you can adjust your health routine.

And last but not least, always consider things you can eliminate from your life which might be increasing your perspiration. The most obvious culprits are smoking, alcoholic beverages, caffeinated beverages and foods with excessive sugar.
