How To Speed Up Your PC

It seems inevitable, that all PCs start to slow down after you’ve had them for a while.  There are a number of reasons why your PC may be slowing down.  The trick is to identify what the main culprit is, and removing it.  It could be that your infected with a virus.  It could be that your hard disk has become too fragment. If you have Vista or Windows 7, this is unlikely as tun unfragging utility normally runs on a regular basis. It could be that you have too many programs running in the background.  This is often caused by installing lots of programs over time.  One of the things I like to check for, is your startup programs tab in MSConfig utility.  Simply uncheck the items here that don’t look necessary to you.  If your unsure which to uncheck, then uncheck them all and keep an eye out for what stops working on your computer.
