These days we are seeing more women in high heels than possibly ever before. Not only are they popular fashion accessories for evening wear and formal events but women are finding them necessary fashion wear for the office as well as casual wear. The height of some of these shoes have increased ever higher with platform bottoms adding additional length to the heels.
Celebrities are seen wearing high heels to events as well as on the red carpets. It is not uncommon to see women wear heels as high as 5 inches simply as casual attire. They are popular among many of the coeds and it is startling to see them walking across campus in 4 and 5 inch stilettos. There does not seem to be a stop to the height that shoe designers are willing to go. Many of hte most popular fashion icons are designing shoes to comfortably be worn with heels as high as 8 inches.
