A garden awning is a great tool to have, even if you have never really considered it a tool. The reason that I classify it as such, is simply because I am always dragging it out with me whenever I have to work in the garden. It gets incredibly hot here in Florida during the summer, and it seems like that is the time that I have to spend the most days in the garden, either pulling weeds, or making sure the plants are healthy. Having the awning out there to work under really allows me to be outside for a lot longer, without feeling that dreaded heat stress, and headache that comes with it. These headaches will keep you out of the garden for a few days if you aren’t careful.
