I used to be the sort of person who would take each day as it came, I would never worry about tomorrow and rarely look back at the past. This was my attitude until my father became seriously ill and didn’t have any critical illness cover insurance.
My father was full of life until he had his heart attack, he would always be there for me. He had a serious cardiac arrest 2 years ago and not only was it emotionally draining for the family, it was a financial burden on us too as he was the only one who was earning a wage in our family.
Once he had gone we were left with medical bills and funeral costs, it nearly finished my family for good. After that episode in my life I never wish that upon anyone else, that’s why I am deciding to take out critical illness cover insurance so I can at least make sure there is money left for my loved ones when I leave this planet.
