Games I Like to Play

I’m a big fan of games; they’re a great way to socialize (and that’s coming from someone who, as a general rule, doesn’t like people!) I’ve never been able to really get into computer games, though; staring at a screen by myself is…well, that’s what I do all day surfing the net anyway :p. While I’ll definitely devote a bit of time to playing the latest Mario game, for the most part I prefer board games over video games and the actual dead tree versions over electronic versions (although some of the new iPad apps are pretty nice!)
Mostly, I’m a big fan of strategy board games. I like to think, and there are a number of board games that are perfect for that! In fact, I find that a number of my favorite opponents for the heavy board games (heavy referring to how difficult it is) also are in computers, so there seems to be a bit of problem-solving (or puzzle solving?) mentality that attracts people in both areas!
For example, one of my favorite games is Caylus. While it plays 2-5, I find it to be too chaotic with five and just right with two. Caylus is a no luck game; aside from the initial player order and starting buildings, there is no randomness whatsoever; it is completely deterministic (meaning the same choices will have the same results every time). As such, in a two player game, that means you only lose if you screwed up somewhere! (However, the semirandom setup, while not introducing luck to the game, does mean that it plays out differently each time). I dislike dice games because often there’s nothing I can do that will effect how well I do in the game; by contrast, if I lose a game of Caylus, I can analyse what I did wrong and do better next time!

I like riding my bike a lot. I’m on it almost every single day, and I’ve invested a large amount of time and money over the past several years to ensure that my bike is the best bike it can possibly be. This is important to me, and is a great investment in my opinion.
However, ever since I got married, my apartment has been too full of stuff to keep my bike in anymore. This isn’t a terrible problem, but it did interrupt my routine. I was used to grabbing my bike, heading out, and riding away. How can I adjust this routine to keeping the bike outside?
Well, for one, I had to keep it safe. I did some research into the different kinds of bike sheds on the market these days, and I came to the conclusion that a high quality, safe bike storage shed is easy to find and buy. If you’re looking for one, make sure it fits together well – this is a testament to its quality, as well as keeps the rain off the bike – and also make sure the door shuts tightly and locks well. My shed couldn’t be broken into without enough noise to alert the entire block!
I don’t keep my gear out in the shed though. That I wanted nearby, so while shopping for the shed I also stopped and ended up looking at the wicker chests in a nearby furniture store. Wicker chests are great, they’re light yet strong, perfect for keeping gear in. I bought an inexpensive one that was big enough for my helmet, gloves, and some other equipment, and set it by my back door. If it gets dirty, no problem. If it needs moved, again, no problem.
Now I have a system that works great for me. Keep this in mind if you have a bike in your back yard. It’s safe and very effective.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened in the summer of 2010 in Orlando Florida. It is one of the parks in the Universal studios park system. Universal studios parks was in financial trouble before the park opened, and the park has single handedly saved the company from bankruptcy by many accounts. The park has seen massive attendance since it opened, even higher than anticipated, and attendees also report that they park is very satisfactory. Children and adults both enjoy the world of Harry Potter, and the park has nailed it as far as most people are concerned.
The park offers rides just like most amusement parks. Keeping Water Out of Your RC Boats

RC cars and planes cannot be exposed to water. Water will make them rust, and destroy their electrical and mechanical parts. However for RC boats, exposure to water is a mandatory thing. It would be a waste of a boat if it doesn’t get into the water, right? While other remote controlled vehicles are avoiding the water, these boats are made to be in it. Consequently, you would need to do some maintenance on your boats to keep them in great shape.
First, and probably most important, is to keep on making sure that the hull of your boat is properly sealed. One of the easiest ways for water to enter the hull of your boat is through the canopy. For this, you can make a gasket to keep the water and moisture from getting inside the hull and ruining your boat. Using a window sealant silicone is a popular option among hobby enthusiasts to keep the canopy sealed.
Another way for water to enter the hull of RC boats is through the output shaft tube. Occasionally inspect your prop shaft for wear and tear. Scuff marks inside the shaft would indicate excessive wear. For this purpose, you would need to apply cable grease inside you prop shaft. With this grease regularly applied, you would prevent water from entering the shaft, as well as lubricating it to reduce friction that causes wear and tear.

It’s required for RC boats be sealed properly so that they can function well for a long time. Water is corrosive in nature, and so could do damage to your boat’s exterior in the long run. However, it’s more important to make sure it doesn’t do any damage in the interior of the boat, as that would require much more extensive repair.
