Biconditional Statements Defined

A biconditional statement is a compound statement formed by two conditions. It is basically a statement that expresses and uses two conditions in order for something to be considered true. Take the following statements for example:
(A) The bell doesn’t ring before twelve noon.
(B) The bell doesn’t ring after twelve noon.
So, given the two statements A and B, we need to be able to satisfy both conditions in order for us to come up with a biconditional statement. Since the bell doesn’t ring before and after twelve noon, then it is safe to say that the bell rings if and only if it is twelve noon.
Boconditional statements are written using the ‘if and only if’ connective or ‘iff’ because these statements are just abbreviated ways of saying “A if B” and “B if A”. So, with our new biconditional statement:
The bell rings if and only if it is twelve noon.
our A now is that our bell rings and our B is at twelve noon. So, we can say that (1) “A if B”, in this case: the bell rings if it is twelve noon; and (2) “B if A”, in this case: if it is twelve noon, the bell rings. Notice how these two statements now are actually a condition and its converse. So, with biconditional statements, it is always necessary that both A and B have the same truth values.
Biconditional statements are rather complicated ideas in logic. So when teaching them to students, it is necessary that teachers are able to have a full grasp of the entire idea in order to make sure that they can explain it well to the students. Since it’s a very tricky subject of discussion, the teacher must also first check out different Geometry lesson plans in order for him or her to have a better idea of the different methods that can be applied in teaching the said topic.

Many people these days are looking to start a new career. A prenatal tech school is just a sub-specialty of a regular ultrasound technician program. It requires no specific extra training other than the basic certification as an ultrasound tech. the same is true of other jobs such as cardiac or abdominal ultrasound—you simply need to get certified, and then you can choose to specialize or not. Specializing in these fields does not mean that you will necessarily earn a higher wage—in fact, some specialties may pay slightly less than others. The Internet has changed the way we consume the news, shop, work and socialize. It’s changed the way we entertain ourselves. It’s also changed dramatically the way we learn. Today, students can take most any course online, from those for college credit to those that are just for fun. As the owner of a small business, this means that you or your employees can take bookkeeping courses online, too.
The question is, are online courses right for you and your employees?
Online courses come with a long list of positives. But they do bring some negatives, too, when compared to traditional brick-and-mortar classes. For instance, online courses don’t offer as much opportunity for students to engage in back-and-forth discussions with classmates and teachers. Sometimes, students learn as much during these talks as they do during the traditional portion of the course.
For students who are natural procrastinators, online accounting courses might encourage them to wait until the last minute to begin working on projects, papers and other assignments. This isn’t good; students never learn well when they’re rushing to complete something at the last minute.
On the other hand, online bookkeeping courses come with a host of significant benefits. For one thing, they’re usually less expensive than are traditional brick-and-mortar classes. This is an important factor at all times, but especially during today’s dismal economy. Business owners don’t want to spend any money that they could otherwise save.

Advertising Classes are all about the Visuals

Visuals have their place in advertising classes. The problem is visual gets way more than its share of focus in these classes as compared to the need to emotionally persuade by words. There’s a great one word argument against the focus on the visual in advertising.
Google.
The search giant’s revenue has been made up nearly entirely by search based advertising. You know, if you have used the internet for any period of time, Google’s ads are text. Words. Nothing pretty, nothing cute. Just great persuasive words. With 25 words or less, you must convince a prospect who is interested in your product to click for more information. No pretty people. Even using all caps is not allowed in Google advertising. It is the art of verbal persuasion that makes Google a portion of the billions of dollars in revenue it generates.
If you are interested in advertising classes be prepared to challenge all the instructors point of view. This field is all about opinion, and very little about facts. The idea of advertising is to evoke an emotional response in a prospect in order to get them to take action. You can accomplish this visually. Visuals mean different things to different people. Costs of producing video or photo shoots can be prohibitive. Sometimes the visual effort simply doesn’t work.
Think back on your own experience for a moment. When is the last time you could not remember the client for an ad? If you can’t remember specifically who the client was, the advertising was a failure. Advertising classes won’t help you avoid the failures, and they will teach you certain effects in the visual realm. Putting this effort into persuasive and memorable copy would be a better use of time in these classes.
I’m a proponent of renaming advertising classes into what they really are. Art classes. They focus on using visual arts to attempt to persuade. One other example of why this is true. How many viral marketing campaigns work? How many are attempted? What do you think the percentage of success of these campaigns are?
Viral marketing is visual at its heart. The massive numbers of failure to “go viral” tells you why consistent verbal persuasion is a more important advertising effort and why advertising classes would be better for students if more focus was placed on verbal skills.
