I decided to splurge on a few Armani suits the day that my company hit a maintained sales record which had never been achieved before by the company. It was a day that I won’t ever forget as that was the day I met my now boyfriend Bruce. I walked into the Armani store with a few thousand dollars that I was planning on spending. Bruce immediately greeted me at the door. Upon shaking my hand we shared a moment of elongated eye contact that made me somewhat uncomfortable at first. I had been married for several years and had never been attracted to men. Bruce was different. He showed me around the store and helped me pick out several suits to try on. He showed me where the changing room was and asked if I needed any help. I said sure, being that some of the jackets still had pins in them and I didn’t want to prick myself with any of them. We both fit comfortably in the dressing room. He told me to first take off my coat so I could try on the jacket. It was the perfect size and felt amazing. He then told me to try on the pants. As I slipped them on one leg at a time I could feel him staring at me. I turned around and we had another moment of elongated eye contact.
Once I was done in trying the suits on I immediately had him show me a few watches. I didn’t know that there were Armani watches but I was wrong. He showed me several models, everyone I liked more and more. I ended up buying three suits, two watches and even got Bruce’s phone number. It’s been a few years and we’re still together. I’m now divorced and loving the fact that I can be who I was meant to be.
