The Insurance Adjuster’s View of Your Car Accident Settlement

Negotiating insurance claims with experienced adjusters can be a tricky complicated business.  They have the advantage of knowledge about the law and the case, tons of experience, and a huge legal department on their side.  If you want to effectively increase your settlement, you might have to pull out a few tricks from up your sleeve.  Something that help you out a lot when it comes to getting the money you deserve is seeing your case from the insurance adjuster’s point of view.  This simple exercise will let you see what the strengths and weaknesses of your case are while at the same time examining the common ground you might have to reach a settlement earlier.

The insurance adjuster is effectively being paid by his employer, the insurance company, to get you to release any claims that you have against the company for the smallest amount of money that he can possibly get.  However, insurance adjuster aren’t compensated the same way that traders at big banks are.  They don’t get bonuses depending on how much money they save the company.  Instead, for the majority of them, while they would like to get you to sign for a really small amount, they simply want an amount that won’t make them look bad on their next performance review and possibly make them lose their job.  Insurance adjusters have a lot of experience in this field as well, so they know what each case is worth on average.

So, an insurance adjuster will almost always make you a low ball offer and try to get you to settle for a small amount.  However, if you have done your research and can support your claims that you are owed a bigger amount than they are offering, you and your adjuster should be able to come to a reasonable agreement.  There are exceptions to this however, so make sure to not rule any legal action out from the beginning.

Oil Seal Types

There are a lot of oil seal types. Piston seals are also referred to as  radial seals.  This is where the seal is fitted on a shaft with the sealing lip in contact with the housing bore. V rings are also known as external lip seals.  A symmetric seal would be symmetrical and should work just as well as a rod or a piston seal would.  An axial seal will seal axially against a machine component or a housing.

The type of seals used  for a grease seal or an oil seal could be oil seals or really any other types.  An oil seal is also sometimes called a  flexible lip, a radial lip, or a rotary shaft seal. Grease seals and oils seals are used  to help  retain or sometimes separate  fluids or other lubricants.  In most cases, these seals will be used for rotary applications.

Red Cars and More Tickets Revealed

It is often said that red cars receive more different than other cars because of their color and the fact that they stand out from a crowd of white, black, and tan colored cars. However, there are no official statistics that prove this urban legend. Police and insurance companies also deny a link between an increase in tickets and accidents associated with red cars.

However, driving the speed limit or at least close to it will most likely ensure that you will not get pulled over for a ticket. An interesting study that was taken in Canada was studying the psychology of why people choose to drive certain color cars, and red was determined to be the color of “need for speed” which could be an association of why this legend is so heavily supported. Best States to Drive Defensively In

As unreal as it sounds, there are actually entire states that have a driver uninsured rate of over 20% according to research conducted by the Insurance Research Council. These five include Alabama, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Florida. Regardless of state laws and the fact that it is illegal to drive without auto insurance, some states simply do not enforce the law as heavily as others. That is what makes these above states so vulnerable to uninsured drivers.

On the other hand, there are also several states where the uninsured driver rate is actually very low. These states being Maine, New York, North Dakota, Vermont, and Massachusetts all maintain a 1%-6% uninsured rate. That is incredible considering how many people live in each state, especially New York. Visit Stockton Auto Insurance and find some excellent information on auto insurance as well.

Types of Pro Comp Tires

Pro comp tires come in a variety of styles. The Pro Comp Xterrain product is designed with six layers of tread, the best protection you can get against rupture, and will serve you well in situations requiring extensive four-wheeling. Such products are generally required for rock scaling, however they will work just as well on normal streets and are nearly silent. The Pro Comp Extreme Mud Terrain product is designed to drive in deep mud, or as it is sometimes known: bog driving. The Pro Comp Radial Mud Terrain product drives well in adverse weather situations involving slush and slick streets because it generates great adhesiveness to surfaces, making chains on your tires obsolete.

Pro Comp Xtreme all Terrain products work well for drivers who like to drive off-road more often than on-road. Drivers who like to take their vehicles way off road will like these tires.
